The Cranial & Cranio-Sacral Year represents a core pillar of advanced osteopathic education. This year is designed to provide participants with a solid, structured, and clinically applicable understanding of cranial and cranio-sacral osteopathy, based on anatomy, palpation, biomechanics, and functional integration.
Through a progressive sequence of seminars, participants will develop precision in perception, clarity in diagnosis, and safety in treatment, allowing cranial work to be integrated confidently into daily clinical practice.
Key learning objectives:
By the end of the Cranial & Cranio-Sacral Year, participants will be able to
● Understand the anatomy and biomechanics of the cranial bones and sutures
● Develop reliable palpation skills of cranial structures and motion
● Identify cranial compression lesions and deviations
● Assess and treat the cranio-sacral relationship
● Use the cranial fulcrum to restore functional balance
● Integrate cranial osteopathy into a global osteopathic assessment
● Apply cranial techniques safely and effectively in clinical practice
This seminar will cover
● Fronto-occipital relationships
● Biparietal and occipital bone mechanics
● Introduction to cranial palpation
● Sacrum positioning and basic cranio-sacral treatment
● Establishing safety, precision, and perception

Booking terms and conditions
As an IOT general rule, each participant should apply by sending his or her CV to info@iot-academy.net two months prior to the start of each seminar or participate in the Round-table organized by IOT Team for that purpose in order to better understand the specific objective of the seminar and the long-term vision of IOT Academy.
All participants should be in order with their respected Orders (Lebanese Order of Physicians, Lebanese Order of Physical Therapists) and/or Associations/Societies locally and/or internationally.
Participants should pay the total seminar fee one month prior to the start of the seminar.
IOT delivers a Certificate to each participant at the completion of each Seminar. The certificate will valid part of other curriculums done by IOT especially the 4 years training curriculum.

Cancellation Policy
No refund will be available in case of a cancellation during the month preceding the date of the seminar. Refunds or remissions under special circumstances can be considered; these circumstances are either medical or Personal/Family reasons.
